Why Our Fish & Chips Taste Better

- Fresh Fish, Never Frozen -

Great fish and chips start with freshness. Fresh fish tastes cleaner and flakes better when it’s never been frozen. That’s why our cod and haddock come from Scotland, with other fish sourced from the south coast — all delivered in peak condition. Keeping it fresh preserves natural flavour and texture, without the water loss or damage that comes from freezing.

- Proper Chips, Done Right -

Proper chips start with the right potatoes. That’s why we source fresh potatoes from the best regions in their best seasons — Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, the Fens, and early-crop Scottish farms. The result is chips that stay crisp, fluffy, and full of flavour. Our prep and cooking change through the year too, so every batch comes out right. Proper chips, every time.

- Light, Crisp Batter -

Good batter should lift the fish, not hide it. Ours is light and crisp, letting the flavour of fresh fish shine. You get the crunch you want, without the heaviness — just a proper fish and chips bite.

Keeping Proper Fish & Chips Alive

Proper fish and chips are becoming harder to find. Too often, shortcuts replace craftsmanship and tradition gets lost.

Pisces has been a family-run fish and chip shop in Eastcote since 1980, just a two-minute walk from Eastcote Station. The shop has passed through three families over the years — and today it’s run by Atila and his son Apo. Atila grew up in a fishing village and has cooked fish and chips for nearly three decades, while Apo’s earliest memories are from inside a chippy.

We took on Pisces because we saw a trade that was fading. Our aim is simple: to keep proper fish and chips alive and show what they can still be when done with care.

Overhead shot of a freshly prepared fish and chips meal from Pisces, served on a classic white plate. The golden-brown, crispy battered fish and perfectly fried chips are accompanied by homemade tartare sauce and thinly sliced gherkins on the side, adding a pop of colour and flavour. The plate is elegantly garnished, and in the corner, Pisces fish and chips logo is prominently displayed, symbolising quality and tradition. This fish and chips shop serves locals in Pinner, Eastcote, Ruislip, and more.

More Than a Meal
- an Experience

Most chippies are takeaway-only now. We kept our dine-in because people still want a place to sit, relax, and enjoy proper fish and chips.

Our restaurant seats around 40 guests in a clean, cosy, fully air-conditioned space — the kind of comfort that’s missing in most modern chippies. Whether you’re dining in or picking up, you get the same care in every detail.

There’s something for everyone too: gluten-free Mondays, matzo meals, grilled options, and fresh Mediterranean salads made daily. Simple, honest food — served with real comfort.
